प्रवृत्तौ वा निवृत्तौ वा नैव धीरस्य दुर्ग्रहः, यदा यत्कर्तुमायाति तत्कृत्वा तिष्ठतः सुखम्। ॥18॥
pravṛttau vā nivṛttau vā naiva dhīrasya durgrahaḥ, yadā yatkartum-āyāti tatkṛtvā tiṣṭhataḥ sukham. (18)
The wise person finds happiness by doing what comes their way, whether they are active or resting, and remains free from discomfort in both situations.
