भावाभावविहीनो यस्तृप्तो निर्वासनो बुधः, नैव किञ्चित् कृतं तेन लोकदृष्ट्या विकुर्वता। ॥17॥

bhāvābhāva-vihīno yastṛpto nirvāsano budhaḥ, naiva kiñcit kṛtaṁ tena loka-dṛṣṭyā vikurvatā. (17)

This verse teaches that a truly wise person rises above the concepts of being and not being, finding peace and contentment within themselves, and remains unaffected by the actions they perform in the world. Their inner state of freedom and lack of desire allows them to act without attachment to the outcomes.
