आत्मा ब्रह्मेति निश्चित्य भावाभावौ च कल्पितौ, निष्कामः किं विजानाति किं ब्रूते च करोति किम्। ॥6॥
ātmā brahmeti niścitya bhāvābhāvau ca kalpitau, niṣkāmaḥ kiṁ vijānāti kiṁ brūte ca karoti kim. (6)
This verse teaches that when a person truly understands that their true self is the same as the ultimate reality (Brahman), and recognizes that ideas of existence and non-existence are just thoughts, they become free from desires and find peace in simply being. In this state, there is little left to say or do, as they are deeply connected to the essence of everything.
