शुद्धमद्वयमात्मानं भावयन्ति कुबुद्धयः, न तु जानन्ति संमोहाद्यावज्जीवमनिर्वृताः। ॥41॥
śuddham-advayam-ātmānaṁ bhāvayanti kubuddhayaḥ, na tu jānanti saṁmohād-yāvajjīvam-anirvṛtāḥ. (41)
This verse suggests that people with limited understanding may think of the true self (Ᾱtman) as pure and singular, but they fail to truly grasp its essence. Because of this misunderstanding, they experience unhappiness throughout their lives.
