हातुमिच्छति संसारं रागी दुःखजिहासया, वीतरागो हि निर्दुःखस्तस्मिन्नपि न खिद्यति। ॥7॥
hātum-icchati saṁsāraṁ rāgī duḥkha-jihāsayā, vītarāgo hi nirduḥkhas-tasminnapi na khidyati. (7)
This verse suggests that those who cling to worldly things may wish to escape their troubles, but a person who is not attached to these things remains joyful and unaffected by the world's difficulties. True freedom comes from letting go of attachment rather than trying to flee from life's challenges.
