प्रवृत्तौ जायते रागो निवृत्तौ द्वेष एव हि, निर्द्वन्द्वो बालवद्धीमानेवमेव व्यवस्थितः। ॥6॥
pravṛttau jāyate rāgo nivṛttau dveṣa eva hi, nirdvandvo bālavad-dhīmān-evam-eva vyavasthitaḥ. (6)
This verse suggests that engaging in activities can lead to attachment, while avoiding them can create dislike. A wise person remains unaffected by these opposing feelings, much like a child, and is grounded in their true self.
