अष्टावक्र उवाच भावाभावविकारश्च स्वभावादिति निश्चयी, निर्विकारो गतक्लेशः सुखेनैवोपशाम्यति। ॥1॥
aṣṭāvakra uvāca bhāvābhāva-vikāraśca svabhāvād-iti niścayī, nirvikāro gata-kleśaḥ sukhenaivopaśāmyati. (1)
This verse teaches that when a person truly realizes that everything in life is temporary and subject to change, they can remain calm and free from suffering, leading them to a state of inner peace.
