कृतं न कति जन्मानि कायेन मनसा गिरा, दुःखमायासदं कर्म तदद्याप्युपरम्यताम्। ॥8॥
kṛtaṁ na kati janmāni kāyena manasā girā, duḥkham-āyāsadaṁ karma tad-adyāpy-uparamyatām. (8)
This verse encourages us to reflect on the many lifetimes we have spent struggling and working hard. It suggests that we should take a break from this effort, at least for today, to find peace.
