Bija

अष्टावक्र उवाच कृताकृते च द्वन्द्वानि कदा शान्तानि कस्य वा, एवं ज्ञात्वेह निर्वेदाद्भव त्यागपरोऽव्रती। ॥1॥

aṣṭāvakra uvāca kṛtākṛte ca dvandvāni kadā śāntāni kasya vā, evaṁ jñātveha nirvedād-bhava tyāgaparo'vratī. (1)

This verse encourages us to reflect on the nature of our duties and the struggles that come with them, suggesting that these conflicts are not truly ours to hold onto. By letting go of attachment and becoming indifferent to worldly concerns, we can find peace and embrace a life of renunciation.
