अहो चिन्मात्रमेवाहमिन्द्रजालोपमं जगत्, अतो मम कथं कुत्र हेयोपादेयकल्पना। ॥5॥
aho cinmātram-evāham-indrajālopamaṁ jagat, ato mama kathaṁ kutra heyopādeya-kalpanā. (5)
This verse expresses that the true self is pure consciousness, unaffected by feelings of acceptance or rejection. It suggests that the world is an illusion, like a magic show, and therefore these notions do not apply to the essence of who we are.
