Bija

महोदधिरिवाहं स प्रपञ्चो वीचिसन्निभः, इति ज्ञानं तथैतस्य न त्यागो न ग्रहो लयः। ॥2॥

mahodadhir-ivāhaṁ sa prapañco vīcisannibhaḥ, iti jñānaṁ tathaitasya na tyāgo na graho layaḥ. (2)

This verse expresses that the true understanding of life sees the self as vast and unchanging like the ocean, while the world is temporary like a wave. In this perspective, there is no need to cling to or reject anything, as everything is part of the same greater reality.
