Bija

उद्भूतं ज्ञानदुर्मित्रमवधार्यातिदुर्बलः, आश्चर्यं काममाकाङ्क्षेत् कालमन्तमनुश्रितः। ॥7॥

udbhūtaṁ jñāna-durmitram-avadhāryātidurbalaḥ, āścaryaṁ kāmam-ākāṅkṣet kālam-antam-anuśritaḥ. (7)

This verse reflects on the irony that even someone who understands that pursuing sexual pleasure can hinder true knowledge still longs for it, even in their old age and weakness. It highlights the struggle between worldly desires and the pursuit of deeper understanding.
