सशरीरमिदं विश्वं न किञ्चिदिति निश्चितम्, शुद्धचिन्मात्र आत्मा च तत्कस्मिन् कल्पनाऽधुना। ॥19॥
sa-śarīram-idaṁ viśvaṁ na kiñcid-iti niścitam, śuddha-cinmātra ātmā ca tat-kasmin kalpanā'dhunā. (19)
This verse expresses the understanding that both the body and the universe are not permanent or real, while the true essence of the Self is pure awareness. It suggests that if everything else is fleeting, then there is nothing solid for our thoughts and fantasies to rely on.
