Bija

न जातु विषयाः केऽपि स्वारामं हर्षयन्त्यमी, सल्लकीपल्लवप्रीतमिवेभन्निम्बपल्लवाः। ॥1॥

na jātu viṣayāḥ ke'pi svārāmaṁ harṣayantyamī, sallakī-pallava-prītam-ivebhan-nimba-pallavāḥ. (1)

This verse means that a person who finds true happiness within themselves does not seek joy from external things, similar to how an elephant prefers certain leaves over others. True contentment comes from within, not from outside pleasures.
