विरक्तो विषयद्वेष्टा रागी विषयलोलुपः, ग्रहमोक्षविहीनस्तु न विरक्तो न रागवान्। ॥4॥
virakto viṣaya-dveṣṭā rāgī viṣaya-lolupaḥ, graha-mokṣa-vihīnastu na virakto na rāgavān. (4)
This verse explains that a person who dislikes sensory pleasures is seen as not being attached to them, while someone who desires them is considered attached. However, the one who remains neutral, neither accepting nor rejecting these pleasures, is beyond both attachment and aversion.
