आयासात् सकलो दुःखी नैनं जानाति कश्चन, अनेनैवोपदेशेन धन्यः प्राप्नोति निर्वृतिम्। ॥1॥

āyāsāt sakalo duḥkhī nainaṁ jānāti kaścana, anenaivopadeśena dhanyaḥ prāpnoti nirvṛtim. (1)

This verse suggests that many people struggle and feel unhappy in life, but they often don't realize that their efforts may not lead to true happiness. The teachings of the wise can help guide them toward a deeper understanding and liberation from this unhappiness.
